OiShiX Niigata Albirex BC has officially announced the re-signing of pitcher Kazutomo Iguchi, bringing the experienced right-hander back into the fold for the upcoming season.
Iguchi, born on January 7, 1994, in Kanagawa Prefecture, stands 175 cm tall and weighs 77 kg. He bats and throws right-handed, and will wear jersey number 20. His professional journey spans multiple clubs: he played for Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters (2016–2023), Orix Buffaloes (2024–2025), OiShiX Niigata Albirex BC (2026), and most recently the Veracruz Eagles (2026) in the Mexican League.
Expressing his gratitude, Iguchi stated, “I am thankful for the opportunity to play again as a member of this team. I will work hard to make use of the experience I gained in Mexico—however limited—and contribute to the team’s success.”
The re-signing signals a new chapter for Iguchi, who aims to bring veteran leadership and international experience to the squad.
